BRIGHT
Camille Bright is a South Carolina-born creative powerhouse whose work spans acting, music, producing, and entrepreneurship.
A natural performer with a deep love for storytelling, Camille’s journey began with a bold move to New York City at just eighteen, where she earned a scholarship to The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
There, she developed her craft and landed her first major film role alongside Paul Rudd and Elizabeth Banks in the feature film Our Idiot Brother, marking her debut with a powerful entry into the industry.
Camille later relocated to Los Angeles, where her on-screen career continued to flourish. She’s best known for her standout role as Triva in the Emmy-nominated ALLBLK series A House Divided, her performance as Kim in Season 3 of Tales on BET, and most recently, her critically praised role in Hulu’s hit series The Other Black Girl.
While making her mark in television and film, Camille also cultivated a successful music career. After gaining industry experience in a girl group, she transitioned into a solo artist—collaborating with Grammy-nominated producers The Hitlist, and releasing tracks like the sultry “Playhouse,” which earned two national TV placements. Her single “You Tried It” was nominated for Best R&B Music Video at the Carolina Music Video Awards.
Now in 2025, Camille is in a season of creative renewal—returning to her artistic roots and reconnecting with her love of music.
Her upcoming summer single, “Picture Perfect,” is a vibrant, feel-good pop anthem that reflects her evolution, confidence, and joy as an artist.
Outside of performance, Camille is a seasoned entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of the luxury travel brand Planelylaid, where she merges her love for travel, design, and lifestyle.
Her sharp business instinct has played a key role in shaping her path as an independent artist—bringing focus, strategy, and vision to everything she does.
Camille is also a creator and executive producer, having developed the talk show VIP Happy Hour, a bold and celebratory space for connection, culture, and real conversation. She previously produced and hosted the beloved cooking series Kicking It in Cammi’s Kitchen, a vibrant project that blended food, storytelling, and personality.
